To compliment our stock we also undertake a large number of restoration services. Some are available on site while more specialist tasks are offered to local businesses who have the knowledge and skills required to repair and restore any number of architectural features.

Timber Restoration
For timber products, a number of services can be offered. Stripping, sanding, waxing and polishing can produce several different finishes on your chosen item. The true character of an oak beam is bought to life with a few coats of wax. Often all something needs is a little TLC which you can choose to do yourself but if that's not for you then discuss your requirements with us. We are always happy to finish products to your specifications.
Goods are taken to a local pine stripper and returned to the shop to be properly dried, before their final finish is applied.

Stoned!
Stone can look amazing in the right setting and is a very versatile material. Restoration and finishing can help to bring back to life many stone items, such as fireplaces, garden ornaments and flooring. We work with local stonemasons, highly experienced in their field to offer excellent services and end products. Capable of undertaking very intricate carving on say a fireplace, to selecting the perfect stone for your kitchen. Any combination of design and stone can be accomodated to suit your needs.

Cast in Iron
Cast iron is another material often in need of restoration. Some jobs we do ourselves but most work needs specialist skills and equipment. Our fireplaces and radiators are brought back to life by a local metal foundry who do our sandblasting, as well as being able to cast new pieces to replace a broken grill or mantlepiece.
We will help you to achieve any desired look you require. You can buy almost anything from us unrestored to keep the costs down, but if you want us to take the headache out of the project then consider any of our restorations services. In fact anything you buy we will do our best to find the right person, to restore your piece to it's former glory.

House Clearance - getting sorted.
Whether you just need to make some room or are moving out we can offer you first class service in any form of house clearance. Free confidential advice and help is offered here. If you have a second home here in Cornwall then we may be able to assist you, taking away the worry if you are out of the county.
